North Bend Montessori, Inc.'s goal is to meet each child's individual needs. The classroom is set up with the child in mind. The environment is set up as a nourishing place for the children which meets their individual needs. Activities are designed so the children can become absorbed in them. The furniture, shelves, sinks, tables and equipment are made proportionate to the size of the children, which enables them to move about intelligently. They are able to remove and replace works and supplies themselves. This gives the child a sense of accomplishment that helps them develop their social, emotional and academic skills that will follow them throughout their lives.
